Mario Balotelli Included in Italy Men’s Football Squad for First Time Since 2018

Italian forward, Mario Balotelli who has been seen less of, in the Italian national football squad, has been named as a squad member for the first time since France 2018 worldcup.



The for Manchester City and Liverpool striker, made the list of 35 players named for a three-day training as Euro2020 champions prepares for their World Cup play-off semi-final against North Macedonia on 24 March.



Balotelli has a record of 14 goals in 36 games for his country, but has earned only three caps since the 2014 World Cup, and has not featured for his country since September 2018.


This week’s training camp is one of Roberto Mancini’s final opportunities to get his players together before the North Macedonia match.


Balotelli reunited and worked under Mancini earlier in his career at Inter Milan and Manchester City were lifted the EPL once with the English side.
