
The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has called off their Industrial Strike action after 6 months. The announcement of LAUTECH Ogbomoso calls off Strike was made today, August 16, 2022, in a circular which was signed and released by the school management.

The circular also cleared that the university will resume its normal academic activities on Thursday, August 18, 2022, urging staffs and students to report to their respective posts and classes. This came after the school announced a strike call off in May but the ASUU members of the school refused to resume academic activities despite the school management’s order.
The circular which announced that LAUTECH Ogbomoso calls off Strike, as it was signed by university Registrar, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, further assured them that the amended academic calendar for the semester will soon be made available. It reads;
