Lai Mohammed Denies Saying Nobody was Killed at Lekki Toll Gate in 2020

The Ministry of Information has come out to deny claims made by Lai Mohammed, the minister of information in 2020. The ministry, in defense to Lai Mohammed, has tagged such news as fake, and sating that Lai Mohammed never said that nobody died in Lekki Tollgate during the 202 Endsars protest.



Lai Mohammed’s claim that nobody died in at Lekki tollgate has been seen as a lie after the Lagos state Judicial panel, 1 year later, released its findings of the unfortunate incident.



In a report which the Panel turned to the state government on Monday, November 15, it was confirmed that some people did die during the shooting incident and that the police and Nigerian Army used live bullets at peaceful Endsars protesters.


Ever since the findings of the reports were made public on the 15th of November, several Nigerians have been waiting for the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed to comment on it, but the greatest surprise of many, Lai Mohammed came out to deny ever making such statement in the first place.
