The Lagos state police has released the body of the Late Sylvester Oromoni to his family to be buried, after the command has finishing conducting an autopsy on the body of 11-year-old Dowen college student who died on 30th November.

Late Sylvester Oromoni Jnr died on November 30 after he sustained several injuries from the beaten he recieved from some senior school mates who forced him to become a member of their cult.
In a statement released on Friday, December 17, Adekunle Ajisebutu who is the spokesperson of Lagos state police command disclosed that an autopsy has been conducted on Sylvester Oromoni Jnr’s lifeless body, and that the result is being awaited. In his words;
”Sylvester Oromoni: autopsy done. Result is being awaited. Corpse released to family for burial. Investigation ongoing.”

His untimely death after he was allegedly attacked by some seniors in his school, caused national outrage and grief. The Lagos state government has since sealed the school premises
President Buhari, 7 days after the death of the young champ, sent his condolences to the Oromoni, and vowed to ensure all those involved in the incident would not be spared.
Five students and three housemasters in the school are currently in police custody since then who have been found to be in connection to his death.
