Popular Nigerian Afro singer, Seun Kuti, son of legendary Fela Kuti, has been released on bail by the Lagos police command.

His lawyer who revealed that his bail condition was perfected last Thursday, said he was released today, May 23, after the police’s request for an extension of his detention was granted.

Recall that the embattled Afrobeat star was taken into custody and subsequently arraigned in court for slapping a policeman at Third Mainland.
