Lady Bianca Ojukwu, wife of Lady Chuwkuemeka Ojukwu and a former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, has joined her voice to voice of the south east elders who recently paid Buhari a visit, to release Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Lady Bianca Ojukwu made this patriotic call in Owerri, while giving a note at the 10th memorial anniversary of late Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu on Friday. In her words;

“Please release Nnamdi Kanu’ “Kanu’s release will further buttress President Buhari’s commitment to healing the wounds inflicted by the sense of marginalization felt by the Igbo nation,”
Another keynote speaker at was Ralph Uwazuruike, the founder of the Movement for the Actualization of a Sovereign State Of Biafra, who said;
“This year’s memorial is a further reminder of who Ikemba Odimegwu Ojukwu was. Ojukwu was an great man who fought for the liberation of Ndigbo.”
He also pointed out that the entire Igbo nation of Ndigbo are grateful to Ojukwu for rising up to the challenge and fighting for the Igbo people during the dark ages.
