Kidnapped Imo Traditional Ruler who Made it out Alive Narrates how Their Kidnappers Killed his Fellow Igwe Right in front of his Eyes

HRH Eze Acho Ndukwe, the traditional ruler of Amagu Ihube in Okigwe Local Govt Area of Imo state has thanks his stars for protecting him and ensuring his safe return after he and his colleague, HRH Eze Paul Ogbu of Ihitte Ihube, both in the Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo state have were kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday.

 
 
 

The gunmen who according to the eyewitness that spoke to LatestNGnews.com in anonymity, came with Toyota Hilux car and jerrycans of petrol that they used to raze down their both palaces.

 
 
 

The authorities teamed up with the local vigilante group to raid the kidnappers den at Orsu Local Government Area and Uli in Ihiala LGA of Anambra state respectively, rescuing Eze Acho Ndukwe, the traditional ruler of Amagu Ihube, and retrieved the decaying corpse of Eze Paul Ogbu.

 
 
 
 

Narrating his ordeal, he said that the kidnappers had them in separate rooms and interrogated them differently, there is no way to know what they were asking them. In his words;

 
 
 
 

The shot him right in front of my eyes, and took his body away, I have no idea where they took him. If not for the gallant security operatives, I don’t know what my story would’ve been.

 
 
 
 

This is coming bare 1 week another traditional ruler, Eze Edwin Azike, the traditional ruler of the Atta ancient kingdom in the Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, was kidnapped and his found dead and stashed in a car, dumped at the market square barely after 24hrs.
