Amidst the death of a 22-year-old young Bamise, who lost her life after boarding a government owned BRT (Lagos Bus Rapid Transit System), a twitter user has shared a safety tip that can save the life of other victims.

A twitter user, @Sango Olukoso, shared how to engage the automatic brake and unlock the automatic doors which are automatically locked while the bus is in motion. The twitter user posted on the platform saying;

Pls if you find yourself inside any BRT bus and you feel unsafe, kindly be on d look out for the Emergency Exit Sign, it’s a Red Latch, u have to pull it, it will activate the bus emergency brakes that bus isn’t going anywhere.
