Liverpool FC coach, Jurgen Klopp has called on the English football governing body, FA, to award his side 3 points, if the planned #Glazersout Protest by the Manchester United fans, disrupts his team from playing the match they have tonight at Old Trafford. 

 

The German coach despite admitting that both Manchester United and Liverpool could both use a win tonight, expressed worry that the planned protest could hinder the game in anyway, as fans could easily go haywire when they’re aggrieved with their team’s repeated poor performance. 

 

Speaking to BBS Sport today, Klopp recalled how same Manchester United vs Liverpool fixture was called off in the Covid-era, because fans blocked team coaches at their hotels and managed to get inside Old Trafford and onto the pitch, for the match which was due to be held behind closed doors due to coronavirus pandemic.. 

 

To ensure that  they get their 3-points and a win just in case such thing happens again, Klopp who is rated the best coach in the world as of 2021/2022, said;

 

 

“Plans for the game not happening? Yes, going home on the bus,” “I really hope it will not happen but if it does happen I think we get the points.

 

 

“We have nothing to do with the situation and if the supporters want the game not happening, then we cannot just rearrange the game again and fit it in somewhere in an incredibly busy season.

 

 

“People tell us we are fine, we go there and play the game hopefully and go home. But in a situation like this, always the other team should get the points because they have nothing to do with it and they have prepared for it.”
