IPOB, Stop Your Agitation, Organize Yourselves and Support me for 2023 Presidency — Gov Yahaya Bello

The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has sent a message to the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, urging the group to stop their agitation for a referendum, organize themselves and support his 2023 presidential ambitions.

The governor claimed that him being a youthful governor, has the good intentions of the Indigenous People of Biafra at his heart, vowing that the group will have nothing to regret if they throw in their support towards him.

 
 

In his words, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state said;

“IPOB should drop agitation, organize themselves and support me in the 2023 Presidential election and I will address all their pressing needs.

 

“These youths are agitating because they have no jobs that will keep them busy and that is the number one thing I will do to calm their nerves. Engage them with meaningful means of livelihood and watch the agitation die off.

 
 

“As a youthful Governor, i have the interest of IPOB at heart and believe you me, IPOB won’t regret supporting me as i take over the leadership of this country come 2023.”

This is coming after the northern chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria released a statement through it’s PRO, Jechonia Gilbert, saying that the apex body will not endorse or support Governor Yahaya Bello for 2023 presidency.
