Mazi Nnamdi Knau, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB is scheduled for an emergency court hearing on Thursday, 2nd October 2021.

 
 

His next court appearance was scheduled for 19th January 2022, after his case was adjourned on 10th November by Justice Nyako  of the Abuja Federal High Court.

 
 

It is expected that the troubled leader of IPOB will be released on bail, following a plea made by the South-Eastern Leaders who met President Buhari in Abuja, as they demanded for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu 

 
 

There are also reports that the court hearing could open the door for Kanu’s release on bail.
