
Popular Nigerian rapper, Panshak Henry Zamani better known as Ice Prince Zamani or just ‘Ice Prince, has been arrested by the police in Lagos state for driving a car without plate number and threatening a police officer. The Lagos state police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin made this known to newsmen on Friday morning.

He aid the command has video evidence of Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince assaulting a police officer and that the video will be presented as evidence against him in court today September 2. His tweet at the time reads;
At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani, was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.

However, many Nigerians doubted the story and said video evidence should be made public. In an update given, Hundeyin said the police has video evidence but won’t release it, he hinted that the video will used as an evidence against the rapper when he’s arraigned. SP Benjamin Hundeyin said;
For those asking for video evidence, yes we have it. And no, we won’t release it. A very close ally of his has seen it. It will be presented to the presiding magistrate as part of our evidence.
