
World’s richest man, Elon musk, has clarified on his tweet about making a move to buy popular English Premier League club, Manchester United.

This is coming after the Tesla boss tweeted on Tuesday that he was purchasing Manchester United football the club, in a thread joking about his political allegiances in the USA.
The tweet was taken as one of his jokes and memes while some took it serious, so Elon thought it would be best to clarify things before it gets out of hand.
While replying a twitter handle that enquired if he was truly serious about becoming the new owner of the embattle 13 times EPL champions, Elon said;

“No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I’m not buying any sports teams.”
Despite making it obvious that Elon was Joking about Buying Manchester United, the billionare scientists, further added that if he would buy a sports team, it would be United. he said;
“Although, if it were any team, it would be Man U. They were my fav team as a kid”,
As of Tuesday’s close, Manchester United football club had a market capitalization of $2.08 billion, and the Glazer family did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but the anti-Glazer movement in the club supporters have gained more momentum since last year after Manchester United were involved in a failed attempt to form a breakaway European Super League.
