
Adeleke David, popularly known as Davido, has said that he trusted God with his 02 Arena show and He didn’t let him down. The singer also revealed that trusting God’s plan wasn’t entirely easy.

Award-winning Nigerian singer, and father of three after he had a sold out concert at the 02 Arena on Saturday, and having the event center renamed in his name just for the night, revealed that one guy told him that they would cancel the show.
According to Davido, he made his plans like nothing was weighing him down and he trusted God to perfect it. Despite the haters, the show was a blast and another history was made which place the Nigerian musical industries on good map.
In a video on his Instagram page, Davido expressed how he felt before the show. He wrote:
“There was one thing from a guy that said they would cancel the O2 Arena concert but I know he watched it. “Trusting God’s plan is not always easy, doubt, fear and insecurities can fill our minds.

“But we have to remind ourselves that our God is an awesome God, he’s the only one who knows our future and he’s in control.”
The ‘Dami Duro crooner performed several of old and new his hits songs, including the latest ‘Champion sound’ with Focalistic, which made the South African rapper to become the first South African rapper to perform at 02.
