Several internet users frowned at the news of the 9 months unpaid salary and called out the officials in charge, saying that it is inhumane!

 
 
 

There were also unconfirmed reports that the governor of Imo State, H.E. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, signed the release of their salaries 3 months ago, but the protest of these footballers suggests that their money wasn’t paid.
