The 1957  Miss Nigeria, Grace Atinuke Oyelude, who is also the First ever Miss Nigeria Celebrates 90th Birthday. Grace was crowned Miss Nigeria in 1957 after beating over 200 Nigerian girls in the Miss Nigeria pageant contest.

 
 
 

To mark her 90th birthday, and to celebrate the woman that won the media edition of the Miss Nigeria pageant, the organizers of the competition took to their instagram (@missnigeriaorg) to celebrated the First Miss Nigeria, in a post that reads;

 
 
 

 Happy 90th birthday to the first-ever Miss Nigeria, Madam Grace Oyelude from the year 1957. She was born in Kano to James Adeleye Oyelude and Marthan Dantu from Kogi state and was raised in Northern Nigeria. She is a registered nurse, Midwife, and hospital administrator.
