The executive governor of Anambra state, Prof C.C Soludo, has pointed Nigerian singer/songwriter, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, Lady Bianca Ojukwu, and 13 others, as members of the Anambra State Government Truth, Justice and Peace Committee.
The announcement was made today 6th April 2022, at the Anambra state government house in Awka, by Prof. Solo Osita Chukwulobelu, the Secretary to the State Government.
The announcement revealed that goal of the committee is to identify the key cause of agitations, restiveness, violence and offer recommendations for sustainable peace and security in Anambra state/Southeast.
The announcement also revealed that committee is expected to complete its task within 6 months from its inauguration. The committee will be headed by Professor Chidi Odinkalu and the Chairman and HE Amb. Bianca Ojukwu-Member (wife of Late Odumegwu Ojkwu) as the Secretary
