The executive governor of Anambra state, Prof C.C Soludo, has issued an executive order to all the public servants in the state of Anambra, instructing them to start coming to work on Mondays.
You’ll recall that businesses, schools, offices, are all closed every Monday in the entire South-East, to mark their Sit-at-home which is observed in support to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, who have being in detention for more than 9months now.
Barely 1month after resuming office, the governor of Anambra State, Prof CC Soludo directed all civil servants to stop the sit-at-home and report to their various duties on Monday.
This was contained in a circular dated today 25th March 2022, signed by the Anambra State Head of Service, Barr. Theodora Igwegbe mni, it reads in part;
The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR has directed that all public servants in the state henceforth report at their places of work on Mondays.
Absence from work on Mondays or any other day without approval shall be seen as gross misconduct which shall attract appropriate sanctions.
It is worth mentioning that several persons are staying at home every Monday because they’re all jaded with the way things are going for them, also, some are staying at home because of the fear of the Unknown Gun Men, especially since after they made a fresh announcement
