Gifty Powers, a former BBNaija housemate, has taken a swipe at celebrities who have failed to lend a helping hand to actor, Hanks Anuku. Hanks made news recently after a disturbing video of him made the rounds on social media. Many people assumed he was having a mental breakdown but he came out to debunk it, saying he is okay.

 

In her post, Gifty tackled “actresses who sleep with politicians”, “actors who do Yahoo” and other entertainers, for failing to help the actor. Her post at the time reads;

 

It’s funny how the so-called celebrities post their luxuries on their page but they can’t afford to contribute somethings on behalf of Hanks Anuku.

 

The so-called multi-billionaire daughters and fathers, the ones married to upcoming politicians, the actresses who sleep with politicians, the actors who do the yahoo, the singers, the musicians… It’s a shame y’all can’t come out to support a colleague who is running madly on the streets.

 

Well, it’s the world we live in. People sacrifice their souls, just to show off on social media and make the youngsters feel that their effort has been for nothing.
