A local footballer, identified as Afam, has suddenly slumped and died moment later, while he was playing a local match, in a football pitch in Amabra state

According to to one Chukwuneke Ugochukwu Bishop, who shared the news on a piblic facebook group, he said that the incident happened on Monday, February 21, during a match between Iwene Tansi FC and another local footbal club at Odum Layout.

Afam slumped during the group match and was rushed to a hospital, for the doctors to know what’s happening, but unfortunately, he was confirmed dead.

Several persons were seen trying to resuscitate him, including his father who among the spectators, and his football team coach.
