First Commercial Flight Lands Safely Landed at Anambra Airport Through Air Peace Airlines

7th December 2021 will be a date that many Anambra people will never forget in a hurry for the best reasons. It the date that the first commercial Air Plane landed on the soil of Anambra at the Anambra International Cargo Airport in Umreri.

This comes after barely 7 days many south-east passengers called out Air Peace for allegedly doubling and tripling the air fares for south-east routes, which the company has come out to defend as well as explaining how flight ticketing is been shared at equal prices across all routes.

It is worth mentioning that the first commercial flight landing in Anambra wouldn’t have been possible without the clearance given on December 1 by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority for commercial operations to resume at the Anambra cargo/passenger airport.

There was fanfare at the airport on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 7, as the first commercial flight landed in the state, just in time for the Christmas holidays that sees many indigenes travel to their ancestral homes in the Southeastern state.
