Fire in Fire Rages in Modebe Avenue Onitsha made it  another dreadful night as fire ravaged the homes and stores of many along Modebe Avenue beside New Hope Hospital. It took about an hour and thirty minutes before the Fire fighters could come to the scene.

 
 
 
 
While the people anticipate their arrival, some gallant, fearless youths around, fought against the fire using dirty water from the drainage and New Hope Hospital Management also rendered help with their bore hole water.

 
 
 

The late arrival the Fire fighters was almost greeted with shape violent reactions from the people if not for the intervention of some persons around. However, their ten thousand gallons fire engine could not arrest the Fire.

 
 
 
 

A refill was necessary. Thank you Sacred Heart Parish for coming to the rescue. In this hopeless circumstances, may those whose home and stores got burnt find living Hope in Christ.
