The federal government has approved and said its OK Emirates airlines to Resume its Operations in Nigeria again. 

 
 

The re-approval was made known by Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, in an announcement stating that airline had removed some of its traveling conditions for Nigeria. In his words;

 
 
 

“Today, we received communications from Emirates removing some of the conditions for travelling for which we had concerns,”

 
 
 

Having done that, it is necessary to lift the ban on Emirates – he said

 
 
 
 

This subsequent lifting of the ban is a product of lengthy negotiations between us and them.

 
 
 

The operations of Emirates airline was suspended in Nigeria by the Federal government at the beginning of the year after failing to meet a neutral ground on the COVID-19 travel requirements the airline placed on Nigerian passengers.
