Fani-Kayode now arrested by EFCC After he was Invited for Questioning Last Week

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Nigerian Minister of Aviation has been arrested by the operatives of  the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

 
 
 

FFK who’s news broke that last week that he was arrested by the EFFC, came out to clarify that he was invited by the anti-graft agency, and was never arrested, which is contrary to the news.

 
 
 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) royalist, was arrested was on Tuesday at a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos State.

 
 
 

He was in court over his forgery trial, was exiting the courtroom after the matter was adjourned till January 24, 2021, when he was approached by an EFCC investigator.

 
 
 

He was subsequently arrested and moved to a nearby EFCC custody — a week after his supposed invitation.

 
 
 
 

It is understood that he is still being quizzed over false documents.
