Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan mourns two police officers who Died in an Accident

Former president of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Johnathan, has penned a tribute to the families of the two aide attached to the former head of state, who died in an accident on Wednesday April 6, 2022, 2022.

 

In a statement, released by Ikechukwu Eze, the Special Adviser to Dr. Ebele Jonathan on Media and Publicity, the former head of state described the sudden demise of Inspectors Ibrahim Abazi and Yakubu Toma as painful and heart-rending. He also revealed that the death of the two security detail has thrown him into deep mourning.

 

He also noted that the 2 when they were live, diligently discharged their duties, adding that they were fine officers who were dedicated to their duties and service to the nation.

 

 

Two other officers sustained injuries in the accident which involved a car conveying the security men. They were rushed to a hospital in Abuja where they are responding to treatment.

 

 

The former President offered condolences to the families of the bereaved and the Police High Command and prayed God to grant the souls of the departed eternal rest and bless their families and the nation with the fortitude to bear the loss.
