Reno asked this question amid the ongoing rift between Russia and Ukraine which has lasted for almost 2 weeks now and had made Russia to become the most sanctioned country, ahead of North Korea and Iran.
In his question which was posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon, Reno urged fellow African countries to start taking their own interests at heart, and also some showing solidarity with either NATO or Russia, since they all have shown times without numbers, that they are after their own pockets and interests.
In his post, pastor Reno said;
How can Europe and America still buy oil and gas from Russia and expect Africans, Arabs and Southeast Asia to distance themselves from Russia? You want to act based on your own narrow interests and expect us to act based on your shallow instructions?

Are we your slaves or under your colonization? My fellow Black Africans, stop standing for NATO or Russia. Stand for your own interests. Stand for your pockets.
Negotiate before you associate. If NATO countries want your support, let them cancel your debts. If Russia wants your support, let them pay your debts to NATO countries! Moreover, Nigeria, Libya, Angola and Algeria can meet the oil and gas needs of Europe and America, if they stop buying from Russia.
If you want Africans to condemn Russia, then stop buying Russian oil and gas, and start buying from us. Also, ask France to give Francophone Africa true independence. Then we will support you. It is not only you that like money. We too like money!
