Several residents in the some south-eastern part of Nigeria have observed their sit-at-home protest in support of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is expected to appear in court today, April 8, 2022.

Several images and reports by LatestNGnews.com correspondents, shows several popular streets in the metropolitan cities of Enugu and Aba, being deserted. Shops and business who operate in the area were all closed in total compliance with the sit-at-home protest in solidarity with detained leader of IPOB.

 

Most of the businesses who operate on the streets are small and medium-scale shops, garages, restaurants, pharmacies, schools, banks, etc., other business concerns are all shut.

The same was also seen in Aba, Abia state, residents also remained at their various homes in compliance of sit at home protest today the 8th of April 2022, the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu expected to appear before Justice Binta.
