Elon Musk Named Richest Man Ever Lived, by Forbes, After Giving Jeff Bezos a gap of over $100 billion

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, has been named “The Richest Man Ever” by Forbes, an American business magazine owned by Integrated Whale Media Investments and the Forbes family.




The SpaceX ceo was named the “The Richest Man Ever”, by the financial stats publication, after he grossed a total net worth of Net Worth of $300b, which now puts him at $100b ahead of world’s second richest man, and Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, who’s estimated at $188 billion.



With this figure, 50 years old Elon Musk is now worth more than combined wealth of Google (GOOGL) co-founders Larry Page ($120 billion) and Sergey Brin ($115 billion).



This is coming barely 1 week he became the highest shareholder at twitter, after he purchased purchased another 9.2% company shares worth 3billion dollars, barely 1 month he bought 73,486,938 Twitter shares, valued at $2.89bn (£2.20bn).




Musk is also worth significantly more than the combined forwealthtunes of former Microsoft (MSFT) CEOs Bill Gates ($136 billion) and Steve Ballmer ($100 billion.)



According to Forbes, Musk’s net worth exceeds the GDPs of Colombia, FInland. Pakistan, Chile and Portugal leading Forbes to declare him as the richest person ever, surpassing the likes of John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie of the 19th and 20th centuries as well as monarchs and rulers like Mansa Musa of the 13th century Mali Empire and Augustus Caesar — who reigned from 27 BC until his death in AD 14
