Dr. Simon Odo, the popular Enugu state traditional practitioner Known as King of Satan, is dead. He died at the age of 74, he’s survived by 59 wives and has over 300 grand children. Late Dr Simon Odo, was from Aji in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu. He died on Tuesday morning after a battling an undisclose illness.

 
 
 

His son, Emeka Odo, who spoke to LatestNGnew correspondent, confirmed his death, he also disclosed that burial arrangements are underway, maintaining that their father in his days, instructed his children not deposit his remains in a mortuary. In his words;

 
 

‘Yes, King of Satan is dead,’ Emeka said. ‘He died this morning. He had been down with illness for about three weeks now. ‘We are having a family meeting to perfect arrangements for his burial as he left instruction that we should not put him in a mortuary,’ 

 
 
 

Emeka, who would not respond to further questions, said that the death of his father was a big blow to the family given the size of his family.

 
 
 

A quick visit to the family home of the late King of Satan in his home town, showed that a little crowd was already at the compound.  

 
 
 
 

Emeka explained that most of the people here are all family members and relatives, the rest are friends, kinsmen and well-wishers who heard the news and were trooping to in to sympathize with the family of the deceased.
