Prof Charles Chiukwuma Soludo, the Anambra state governor-elect, has told governor Obiano not to spend more than 20million naira on preparing for his inauguration ceremony.

Soludo who will be sworn in as the next governor of Anambra state on the 17th of March, 2022. made this call to Obiano after he caught a wind that the governor is planning a huge welcoming ceremony for him which is estimated to cost 600milion naira

He opined that there are many projects that needs to be done, so the state spending such amount of money would be a waste, he also maintained that he should be counted out of any inauguration ceremony plans which involves spending of huge sum of money.
Reacting through his aide, Soludo who is a former CBN governor who is now the Anambra state governor-elect, said;
Soludo has asked that he should be counted out should anybody plan to spend more than 20 million for his inauguration. There are many projects to be done and spending huge amount of money would mean being heartless.
