Nigerian Afro-pop singer, Adeleke David, popularly known as Davido, has made history as the first Nigerian Afrobeat singer to be featured on the official Soundtrack of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Davido also made history to become the the first Afrobeat artist to achieve such a feat in the international and global level. The singer who recently made history at the O2 arena in London, is keeping Nigeria in the world map with his philanthropic works, music and platform.
Despite Nigeria’s disappointing absence from the forthcoming tournament, Davido has kept the flag flying as The Fem singer has been tapped for the official soundtrack of FIFA World Cup 2022, Hayya Hayya.
The soundtrack is set to be released today, the 1st of April and it will form part of the activities of activation for the World Cup. Hayya Hayya is produced by RedOne and features Trinidad Cardona, Davido, and Aisha.
