Nigerian Singer David Adedeji Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido has made history again after the singer raised close to ₦200m within 72 hours.

 
 
 

Davido raised the money after he jokingly made a video calling his friends to prove their friendship to him by sending him ₦1m each, but he got back a marvelous response as many of his friends sent more than ₦1m.

 
 
 

Speaking ahead of his birthday, Davido took to his twitter page to tweet that he might give out all the donations… he wrote: ‘Might give it all away’

 

 

Many Nigerians were shocked and surprised while some express sadness and disappointments, suggesting that a tiny fraction of the money should be sent to them instead.
