Nigerian singer, Adeleke David, popularly known as Davido, has given update on how he shared his ₦250m birthday gift he got from friends and family last year, he also gave list of orphanages that benefited from the money across several states in Nigeria.

 

Davido who challenged those who call themselves as his friends and those who he has helped with his musical platform, to send him ₦1m each. It started as a joke but turned out to be one of the biggest charity event in the country in 2021, as many people turned up for him.

 

 

He later added ₦50m of his personal money to the donations after receiving ₦200m as birthday gifts from friends and family within 48hrs, and announced that he will be giving it all away as charity to as many orphanage home as possible

 

In a post shared on his page last night, the award-wining singer gave an update on how the ₦250m was distributed. The states include;
