Well celebrated Nigerian Singer, David Adedeji Adeleke fondly known by fans as Davido has in a short video, asked those who are his real friends to send him ₦1m each. Davido made this call while reffering to the statement, “We Rise by Lifting Others”.

Davido also claimed that he has been lifting others since 100years ago, and so it is time for others to lift him. He also hinted that this would be an ultimate test for those who claim to be his friends.  In his words;

If you say you be my friend,  should send him ₦1m now and prove to me that you’re my friend. Don’t claim to be my friend and stay around me only because of what you benefit.

According to him, he wants to know who his real friends are as he lamented over helping others to rise but no one is helping him to rise.
