Popular Nigerian comedy skit maker, Abdulgafar Abiola, fondly known as cute abiola, has recounted how was arrested by the NAVY, last year, for violating the Force’s Social Media Regulation, by posting pictures while on uniform.

He was arrested and detained by the disciplinary group of the force, but one year later, he remembers it all as event which prepared him for the future, especially after he was appointed as the Special Assistant to the Kwara state governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, on creative industries.
The skit maker in a post he made on his Instagram page said, on Tuesday, Nov. 16, marked one year he was arrested and detained. The post at the time reads;

“Today, being 16th November 2022, makes it exactly one year I was arrested and detained by the Nigerian Navy for violating the Force Social Media Regulation, by posting my pictures on social media while on uniform.
“I recalled this voyage with longing memories and I agreed that the torments of those times were efforts by the Navy to prepare me for the numerous tasks ahead.
“Now, the lessons learnt and experience gathered are propelling me towards actualizing my dreams. It’s really a moment to remember.”
