Cristiano Ronaldo Returns to Manchester United Training Ground Ahead of Arsenal Match, After Going on Compassionate Leave

Manchester United United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make a return to the Red Devils starting 11 after the club granted him a Compassionate Leave that will last as long as he wants after he and his partner lost their twin baby boy on Monday, 18th April 2022.



After the Portuguese international made the heartbreaking announcement, fans and colleagues from all around the world poured in their support and condolences. His club, Manchester United, gave him a Compassionate Leave, as long as he wants, but the super star is set to make a comeback this weekend.



United’s Interim Coach, Ralf Rangnick, disclosed this in a pre-match press conference today. Ralf also added that Scott McTominay will also be making a comeback, with Paul Pogba being out for the rest of the season after he was substituted few minutes into the game at Anfield. 




Scott McTominay will be back and fit to play, he has trained with us and the same is true with Raphael Varane. Cristiano Ronaldo is available again, he’s been training with us.



‘All of the others are still injured and Paul (Pogba) with the scan, it is not very likely he will play until the end of the season. ‘The doctor told me it will take four weeks minimum for him to recover and the last game is end of May. I don’t think it’s very likely he will play again.’
