Christian Eriksen, Denmark international has terminated his contract with multi Serie A champions, Inter Milan. Eriksen terminated with contract with Inter by mutual consent and is now looking to explore other options in store for him.
This is coming six months after the Danish forward suffered a heart incident whilst playing for his country Denmark at the in opening games of the European Championships.
He has since been fitted with a pacemaker, which automatically ruled him ruling him out of playing in Italian football. Eriksen’s exit from Inter was confirmed by the club in a publication which reads;
“Inter and Christian Eriksen have decided to terminate the current contract by mutual consent, as he’s officially not allowed to play in Serie A with defibrillator,”
Eriksen will now be free to consider his options with other potential clubs, and has recently been in training with his boyhood club Odense.
The Inter Milan playmaker spent several days in hospital and had a pacemaker implanted to regulate his heartbeat, which would rule him out of even going to a gym in Italy.
