Mazi Nnamdi Kanus Sight is Deteriorating he may go Blind — Chief Mike Ozekhome SAN tells Court

Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), the lead council in the trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has explained explained why wearing Isi agu (Lions head) Igbo traditional attire was a problem for the DSS and the court.

Ozekhome quoted what counsel to DSS said before the court, that Nnamdi Kanu wearing a traditional attire embroiled with isi agu images or threads, will offend the standard operating procedures.

Adding that the court granted Mazi Nnamdi kanu to wear any plan clothes with colour of his choice.

At the court today, Justice Nyako, while admitting that she equally owns the type of traditional wears, stressed that she would not allow Kanu to wear the said isi-agu dress to court for his trial.

Ozekhome stressed that his team will make sure that Nnamdi Kanu will be given a plain clothe, which do not have any form of insignia on it, adding that the DSS used to isi-agu issue to skip punishment for continuously disobeying the orders of the court.

Chief Mike Ozekhome also stressed the bad effects of a person wearing the same clothes over and over for months, adding that it is not good to mental, physical, spiritual, emotional health, and otherwise.

he concluded by saying that The Finger of God” is on this matter, backing his statements with bible quotations from Lamentations 3 vs 37, Genesis 18 vs 15, Jeremiah 32 vs 27.
