Catholic Priest of a Chaplaincy in Jos bans Parishioners who Dont Have PVC from Entering the Church or Receiving Holy Communion

A Roman Catholic Priest of a Catholic Archdiocese of Jos, has banned students and parishioners of the church from entering the Chapel to celebrate Holy Mass on Sunday Morning, unless they have their PVC.

According to the priest, whose name was later obtained by LatestNGnews.com as Rev Fr Kefas Gogwim, he maintained that the church cannot continue to have a large number of population who attends mass on daily or Sunday baisis, but continues to have low turn out of voters on election day.

 

 

In a viral video, the clergyman could be seen stopping parishioners at the entrance of the church. He asked those with their PVCs to enter the chapel while those without their PVCs to return home.

Fr Kefas maintained that his action is to encourage his members to ensure they get their PVCs so they can participate in the forthcoming general elections.
