Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau meets Queen Elizabeth as she Recovers from Covid

Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, has met Queen Elizabeth II after she resumed office following her recent recovery from covid-19. This is first in-person engagement of the Queen

 

 

The 95-year-old monarch met with Justin Trudeau at the Windsor Castle today, on March 7. The Prime Minister is in the UK for talks on the war in Ukraine with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte.

 

 

A picture from the meet was shared on the @royalfamily instagram page, which reads;

 

This afternoon The Queen received the Prime Minister of Canada, @justinpjtrudeau, for an Audience at Windsor Castle.

 

In the picture released, the queen, was seen as she smiled while she grasped the prime minister’s hands.
