Business Activities Gradually Resumes on Monday as Governor Soludo Moves to Stop Monday Sit at Home

Some businesses were seen reopening their usual Monday business activities in some parts of Onitsha today, after governor Charles Soludo gave an order last week, instructing schools, banks, offices, etc to go about their daily business on Monday.

The governor also met with market leaders and relevant authorities on Friday last week, instructing them go about their Monday activities, as he assured them that relevant authorities have been deployed in place to ensure adequate security.

 

 

A video obtained today by LatestNGnews shows how and when some petty businesses, mostly food item sellers, were coming out to do their daily business, while some who’s houses are also their place of business, have also displayed their goods.

 

Some of food item sellers who agreed to speak to LatestNGnews in anonymity said that they scared of their live, but their market are decaying and spoiling which is their loss, because several of the food items they sell are perishable.

They also lamented that the heat which is being experienced in recent time have being making their vegetables dry up fast and also making other food items to decay at faster rates.
