Burna Boys Mother Reacts to her Son Becoming The First Nigerian and African To Perform At Billboard Music Awards

Bose Ogulu, mother and manager of singer and Nigerian grammy winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has thanked her stars as she expressed her sincerest happiness over the recent achivements and records her son has broken recently.

 

Bose took to her IG page to praise her son for the record breaking achievement of being the first Nigerian and African to to perform at the Billboard Music Awards, a record which Burna Boy broke at this year’s 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

 

Reacting to her son’s latest feat, Bose Ogulu recounted that her son, Burna Boy is the first African artiste to not only perform at Billboard but also at Grammys, BET Hip-hop awards, and Brits. She wrote:

 

“A lot of firsts this week @burnaboygram became the first African artist to perform at the BBMA’s, Grammy’s, BET Hip-hop Awards and Brits…. Also, our First trip to Vegas!”.
