Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has won the Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards for the year 2022. This would be the second time he’s wining the award in this category having won his first in 2019.

 

 

This year, his co-nominees include Nigeria’s Terms and Ayra Starr, and Ghanaian Black Sherif. Tems also lost the Best New Act prize to Seventeen.

 

 

Nigerian disc Jockey DJ Spinall was one of the artists who performed at the award show that held in Dusseldorf, Germany.

 

 

The EMA awards is an event held annually to honor artists and music in pop culture.
