Bashir Ahmad, an aide to president Buhari, has made a claim that the the Dr Goodluck Johnathan, a former president of Nigeria, has indeed defected from his party, PDP, to APC.

 

Bashir Ahmad made these claims after a news and images went viral that a certain northern group, accompanied by 2 northern governors, helped purchased a 100m APC presidential nomination form for the former head of state.

 

One of the tweets he made on Monday evening reads;

 

With this Goodluck Jonathan’s political new development, I am sure, very sure some people are currently busy digging out our pre–2015 elections’ tweets to create a conversation or make a point

 

 

Ahmad also noted that Jonathan’s new political development might push some critics into digging up some posts some APC members made about him pre-2015 presidential election.  However, some Nigerians were quick to dig up several of his old tweets where he was anti-president Goodluck Johnathan
