Speaking in regards to the new charges, Bruce recalled that at the last amendment charge, an affidavit was filled from the prosecutor saying that they have concluded their investigation, “Key Word being Concluded” so, where how did they get come up with 8 new charges later, since you already filled an affidavit that you have concluded your investigation – he asked

He pointed out that the addition of these 8 new charges, is an example as well as a general indication that these allegations against his client are completely ineffective.

Bruce also quoted a line from the amended charges, which states that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, sometime in 2018-2021 (with no identification of the date or time frame), incited people to kill security personnel.

He pointed out this is an evidence that new charges filled against Namdi Kanu is a contrived amendment, with the goal of postponing what he described as the day of reckoning” citing that they don’t want a trial.

Bruce also dared that the prosecutor will have another amended charges against his client before these Monday 17th January amended charges will be brought to court. Maintaining that these are all ploys to delay Nnamdi Kanu’s trial
