Abia state Judiciary High Court Of Justice has ordered the Federal Government and the Nigeria Army to pay ₦1billion in damages, and apologize to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra

This is coming after Mazi Nnamdi Kanu through his special counsel, Bar Aloy Ejimakor filed ₦5b law suit against FG and the Nigerian Army in August 2021, after for invading and destroying a homestead of his client in September 2017.
They federal government and the Army were also ordered to apologize to Kanu for the violation of his Fundamental Rights.

Justice Benson Anya made the order today while delivering judgement on the suit filed by Kanu against the federal government, the Army and others.
The court also declared the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu as illegal, pointing out that not only they invaded his home, abput 28 persons lost their life in the incident which happened in Abia state, 5years ago.
