DSS Explains why Nnamdi Kanu Wore the Same it was white Fendi Dress to Court

The trial case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has been adjourned till 18th and 26th of May 2022.


The presiding judge, Justice Binta Nyako, is expected to give her ruling on the bail application filed by Kanu’s lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), after she struck out 8 charges, out of the amended 15 charges filed against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.


In his argument, Ozekhome(SAN), stress that his client was entitled to bail considering that he still enjoys the presumption of innocence under the 1999 Constitution, as amended, but FG’s lawyer, Labaran, urged the court to decline the bail request.



Justice Binta Nyako adjourned to rule on the application after she heard arguments from both Kanu’s lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome(SAN), and the prosecution counsel, Mr. Shuaibu Labaran.
