
A Bayelsa State Governor, Bodmas Kemepadei, has raised an alarm over the rate young girls are being kidnapped in the state in recent times. Reports gathered by LatestNGnews.com indicated that about 3 girls have been kidnapped in Makurdi and feared dead in the state capital alone in the past 3 days.

LatestNGnews.com reported earlier about 16-year-old Besta Pulovie Osigwe who is among the recent victims of the kidnap and possible death. Reacting to the horror news, a media aide to the Bayelsa State Governor, Bodmas Kemepadei, has raised alarm over reported cases of missing teenage girls in the state capital. He said
“There have been many reported cases of missing female teenagers in Yenagoa, let’s be careful, talk to your loved ones.”
Mr Kemepadei stated this on Wednesday March 23, following the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl identified as Besta Pulovie Osigwe.

According to her brother, Osigwe Thank-God Prosper, the teenager went missing three weeks ago.
“My younger sister, Miss Besta Pulovie Osigwe has been missing for over three weeks now. Please we the Osigwe Family is using this medium to inform the public with any useful information which may lead us or the Nigerian Police to her whereabout,” he said.
