Nigerian music industry has lost one of her best music producers in the person of Victor Jimar Chujor-Idowu, popularly known as Big Daddy Jayy, a.k.a Beats by Jayy. He passed last weekend after loosing a battle to covid-19 which got complicated.

A quick swipe at his IG profile confirmed his death as tributes and condolences were already pouring in from friends and colleagues across the music Industry and the nation.
His obituary was also posted online by his family, announcing the passing of their son. Big Daddy Jay during his time in the music industry was referred to as the “leader of the new school hiphop in Nigeria.”

He’s also credited to producing several hip-hop songs that rocked the airwaves, including a Judah by MI, a track which was made for Vector. Below are some of the tributes on his profile;
