Olusile Joy Omotola who hails from Ogun state took it upon herself together with the help of her colleagues, to support and improve the welfare of the aged widows in society, with several charity work which includes;
Sensitization/Health talk on diabetes and high blood pressure for their age group.
•Free consultation and check up for widows on blood sugar and blood pressure.
•Donation of Wrappers.
•Donation of food stuffs including bags of rice and bags of garri.
In an interview with LatestNGnew.com, Miss Olusile Joy Omotola argued that it was her desire to help provide proper meal, proper health care and good clothing, which aroused after a critical understudy of the situation of widows in the community.

She maintained that she saw the need to quickly reach out to them as they were endangered and this burden, so she and her colleagues birthed the project “NEW YEAR FOR WIDOWS”.
She disclosed that her aim of embarking on this journey is to empower the widows in the community with some of lives basic amenities, create a health environment for them to support each other through this period of their lives, celebrate their strength and encourage them to keep pushing for the coming years ahead.
